Some beach toys available in outdoor storage. ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement (required in North Carolina), ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called "Happy Guest". It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. Weekly rentals with Saturday check-in/out are required from May 30th, 2025 - August 29th, 2026. There is one exterior security camera for your safety and protection. Please do not touch or tamper with the camera.

Vacation (Short-Term) Rental Agreement Please read this vacation (short-term) rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. Any monies received by Landlord for occupancy of vacation property indicates the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members (tenant) of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental. THIS IS A VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT UNDER THE NORTH CAROLINA VACATION RENTAL ACT. THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT ARE DEFINED BY LAW AND INCLUDE UNIQUE PROVISIONS PERMITTING THE DISBURSEMENT OF RENT PRIOR TO TENANCY AND EXPEDITED EVICTION OF TENANTS. YOUR SIGNATURE ON THIS AGREEMENT, OR PAYMENT OF MONEY OR TAKING POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY AFTER RECEIPT OF THE AGREEMENT, IS EVIDENCE OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT AND YOUR INTENT TO USE THIS PROPERTY FOR A VACATION RENTAL. 1. TENANT DUTIES. Tenant agrees to comply with all obligations imposed by the Vacation Rental Act on Tenant with respect to maintenance of the Premises including, but not limited to, keeping the Premises as clean and safe as the conditions of the Premises permit and causing no unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the common areas and remainder of the Premises that Tenant uses, and notifying Landlord in writing of the need of replacements or repairs. The vacation property should not be used or occupied by more than the maximum allowable number of occupants including Tenant’s family, children, and guests. Landlord allows occupancy according to bed configuration. Tenant’s breach of any duty contained in this paragraph shall be considered material and shall result in termination of Tenant’s occupancy. Tenant may not use Premises for any other purpose or activity that violates any criminal law or governmental regulation. Commercial use of the Premises is prohibited. 2. LANDLORD DUTIES. Landlord agrees to provide the Premises in a fit and habitable condition. If at time Tenant is to begin occupancy of the Premises, and Landlord cannot provide the Premises in a fit and habitable condition, Landlord shall refund to Tenant all payments made by Tenant. 3. DAMAGE PROTECTION. Tenant is responsible for any actual damage done to the Property, whether accidental or willful, except normal wear and tear. Tenant is responsible to immediately notify Landlord in the event of incidental or accidental damages and to document the occurrence in a timely manner (within 24 hours) and before their departure date. Tenant is solely responsible for any intentional or willful damage to the Property. Landlord will, at its sole discretion, determine actual damages. 4. CANCELLATIONS. If you should have to cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing immediately. If your reservation must be cancelled for any reason, all monies paid will be forfeited unless the home is re-rented for the entire cancelled period and for the original rental amount. If re-rented for the original rental amount and when payment is received from new tenant, all monies paid be refunded. 5. MANDATORY EVACUATION. If the State or Local Authorities order a mandatory evacuation of an area that includes the property, tenants are required to comply with the provisions of NCGS Chapter 42A, Article 6 as it relates to Mandatory Evacuations. 6. INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS. Tenant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Landlord from and against any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by any person (including Tenant’s guests) as a result of any cause, unless caused by the negligent or willful act of Landlord, or the failure of Landlord to comply with the vacation rental agreement. Should an accident occur please report to Landlord and an accident report will be filed and passed on to Landlord’s insurance company. Tenant agrees that Landlord, or their representatives may enter the Premises during reasonable hours to inspect, make repairs, alterations or improvements thereto as Landlord may deem appropriate, or show the Premises to prospective purchasers or tenants. Tenant shall not assign this Agreement or sublet the Premises in whole, or part, without written permission from Landlord. 7. FORCE MAJEURE. Landlord shall not be liable or accountable, or be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term hereof or Tenant property damages caused by acts, circumstances, or forces beyond Landlord reasonable control including, but not limited to acts of God, electrical surges, electronical device malfunctioning, flooding, strikes, lock-outs, acts of utility companies or government authorities, travel restrictions or advisories, quarantines, pandemic, epidemic, national or regional emergency, government order, or any other matter beyond reasonable control. 8. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS. In Witness Thereof: This Agreement is executed in two counterparts with an executed counterpart being retained by each party hereto. This is a legally binding contract. This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of the State of North Carolina. Amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by all parties. This Agreement represents the entire Agreement of the parties, and there are no misrepresentations, inducements, or other provisions other than those contained in the Agreement. Although individual needs and tastes vary, we will be unable to make other arrangements upon arrival. 9. ADDENDUM. Tenant agrees that Tenant has received, read any such Addendum, and that they shall constitute an integral part of this Agreement. The Addendum follows below. Addendum to Vacation Rental Agreement 1. CHECK-IN INFORMATION - Landlord will coordinate and provide entry information for guests prior to guest arrival. Landlord will make arrangements with guest for key access/entry into home. 2. CHECK-IN TIME - 4:00 pm check-in or when the property has been released by our housekeeping team. Please plan your trip accordingly as entry cannot be approved until check-in time. Any discrepancies with cleaning upon arrival will be evaluated and corrected, if necessary, only if reported within twenty-four (24) hours of guest arrival. Discrepancies reported at the end of tenancy will not be considered or addressed....

Chris' house was in a perfect location, oceanfront, view of the pier and a restaurant in walking distance. everything was very clean and we haven't seen a house so far that was that well equipped (good appliances, toys chairs and umbrellas for the beach, pots, knives, silverware wine glasses, etc...). will definitely come again.

Our time at Memorable Moments was nothing short of incredible! We immediately felt right at home, and Chris and Anna had everything we could have possibly thought of or needed. Their attention to detail is impeccable! We came as a group of 7 for a bachelorette trip and all plan to return with our families for another trip! We can’t say enough great things about this house and stay❤️

We were hoping for a cold beach holiday vacation and that’s exactly what we got.!! This beautiful home had an incredible view, perfect beach access, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked (even had a zester and hand mixer, which made us smile!), making it easy to cook and feel at home. Our hosts went above and beyond, sharing wonderful tips for things to do, places to go during the week, and put up a Christmas tree to make the house festive. This place was absolutely perfect for our needs and we would love to come back again next year!

Everything we could have hoped for to make our stay at the beach enjoyable. So nice to walk out every morning and put our feet in the sand. Beds were comfortable and house was great but the location was pristine. Also having the fishing pier right next door was a home run with the kids.

We went for girls weekend and fell in love with Chris’s place. Chris was messaging beforehand. Offering early check in once place was ready, late check out since there was no check in on the day we were leaving, messaged us with little tips on local restaurants and ice cream shop and just to check in with us. The place was very clean, beds were great, enough space for everyone, great location. I have never visited a place I have felt so welcome and at home. Thank you. We will be back.

Chris is a great host. I started contacting him about a month before our trip because another Airbnb in a different state we were at had advertised “no smoking” but come to find out when we got there it really was an ex smoker hang out. Chris was very forthcoming and got right back to me even that early out. This house fit eight adults and two toddlers in for a few days very well. We didn’t do much cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked. Most of the stuff looks brand new or very close to it. If we ever come back to Oak Island, we’ll definitely try to book this house again! There’s a terrific restaurant next door called the Island Way. We ate there twice and loved it both times. Make sure you make reservations.
